Ridge Pointe is one of the most socially active
and sought after neighborhoods in South Tulsa Oklahoma. This unique
family orientated neighborhood features 250 lots where beautiful homes and
properties are the norm. Attractive features include a large swimming
pool, and a new outdoor playground (2009), walking trails and large neighborhood
pond.
Ladies of the Ridge is the active social
organization within the neighborhood consisting of women who volunteer their
ideas and time so that Ridge Pointe may continue to be one of the most popular
and desirable neighborhoods in south Tulsa. They strive to keep Ridge Pointe a
fun, family place to live by providing social events such as Easter Egg hunt,
Mayfest, Oktoberween, Fishing Derby and Luminaria.
Ridge Pointe is unique in that it has 4 access points in and out of the
neighborhood. Two beautifully landscaped main entrances welcome homeowners and
visitors to Ridge Pointe. One entry from East 101st Street which allows easy
access to the south side of the development and a second entrance off of East
98th Street, allows easy access from the west side of the neighborhood.
Ridge Pointe is part of Jenks Public Schools schools. There are also many
private elementary and high schools in the area. Tulsa is home to the
University of Tulsa and
Oral Roberts University. The city features
extended campuses for the
University of Oklahoma,
Oklahoma State University, and
Northeastern State University. Additionally, many smaller colleges
and junior colleges are in the metropolitan area.
Addresses for the neighborhood are considered part of the city of Tulsa and have
the 74133 postal code. The
Tulsa police department provides security for
the neighborhood.
Ridge Pointe is near major shopping in both
Bixby and Tulsa and is only a few minutes from South Towne Square featuring a
Super Target and also Bixbys new Spirit Bank Event Center.
The short drive to downtown Tulsa allows quick access to the new
BOK Center and the newly approved
baseball stadium, which
will be the new home of the
Tulsa Drillers. Two major hospitals,
Southcrest Hospital and
Saint Francis South Hospital, are both within
two miles of the neighborhood.
